Greg O’Grady announced as Chair of Surgical Research Society of Australasia

We would like to  formally announce that Associate Professor Greg O’Grady has accepted the role of Chair, Surgical Research Society of Australasia.

Greg’s enthusiasm and support will be greatly appreciated, especially as we work jointly to put together another great Program for the November Annual Academic Surgery Conference.

The Surgical Research Society has a long an important history, providing a critical but nurturing environment for the presentation of surgical research from all specialities and scientific disciplines.  The SRS is now under the stewardship of the Section of Academic Surgery in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.  It is responsible for the an excellent November meeting each year, particularly focussed on the presentation of original research by surgical trainees.
