This week Professor John Windsor provided a critical review of research projects at a symposium in the Department of Surgery at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. Masters and doctoral students, from both Science and Medicine, are making significant inroads into understanding acute pancreatitis, pancreatic and gallbladder cancer in the African population.
